I studied at Smith College, New York University Graduate School, Corcoran School of Art, Penland and Greenwich House Pottery. I am a founder of Tribeca Potters, a studio in New York City shared by several other studio potters. The space is bright and very well equipped - we welcome visitors any time.
I am married with two grown children. My husband shares my love of beautiful hand crafted objects and a 6 month sabbatical was spent in a small 15th century village in Wiltshire, England, where I worked at Lacock Pottery and he studied cabinet making.
We live in a rambling Upper West Side apartment with a Springer Spaniel and all manner of wood and ceramic treasures - collected from travels, shows and friends. We have built a house and studio in Litchfield County, Connecticut, where I can take my Springer Spaniel, Max, on great hikes. I try not to work on weekends.
