At some point as a kid, I became a pyromaniac with a container fetish…clay was a natural obsession to follow.   I bought me first potters wheel at fifteen, knowing even at that tender age that I had found…”It”… I still feel the same.   After studying clay in college and a 3 year apprenticeship, I ran away to the islands and spent the next ten years on Andros Island in the Bahamas.   Here I honed my skills as a potter, and raised two beautiful daughters, happily immersed in the colors and textures of island life.   Moving back to the “real” world several years ago, I set up two working studios, spending the summer in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the remaining year in Hobe Sound, Florida.
